Reviewing Ulysse Nardin Freak Vision 2505-250

The major innovation in the Freak Vision that's been carried over from the Innovision 2 is the escape wheel, which is made of a combination of silicon and solid nickel elements. The blades of the balance wheel are oriented in such a way that air resistance is exploited in order to ensure more constant amplitude.

Ulysse Nardin Anchor Escapement's pallet fork (which you can see above, locking and unlocking the iridescent purple silicon escape wheel) doesn't pivot inside jewel bearings; instead, it floats freely, suspended by two silicon blade springs.
